Every summer has a story, and we can’t wait to start our Summer 2022 adventure at YMCA of Greenville’s Summer Day Camp! Offered for school-aged children, the YMCA of Greenville hosts a variety of weekly camps like full-day traditional summer day camp and teen camp, half-day specialty camps for sports, aquatics, dance, and science, and extended day camp for specialty camp participants who want the full-day experience.
Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and YMCA Program Center (Simpsonville).
We will continue to implement best practices from the CDC and SC state guidelines for COVID childcare policies and procedures.

For years, generations of campers have experienced YMCA Camp Greenville’s “magic on the mountain.” Our unique mountaintop setting on 1,400 acres and adventurous programs make for unforgettable experiences that provide a lifetime of memories.
Camp Greenville has 3 overnight session offerings:
Base Camp: Our traditional overnight experience. Live in cabins, eat meals in the dining hall, enjoy campfires, evening programs and more.
Adventure Trips: Enjoy the camp experience while taking a trip with a specific activity focus. Campers spend two nights at camp, then leave for three nights on their trip, and return for the final night back at camp.
Specialty Camps: Our stand-alone options include Mini week (a 3-night session for our youngest campers), Parent + Me (for campers and their parents), and Leadership Development Program for high schoolers.

WELCOME TO SUMMER ENCOUNTERS, CAMPS FOR CURIOUS KIDS!
2023 camps will begin May 31! Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC. It hosts a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting collection of summer camps that provide meaningful opportunities for any child in grades K4 to 12. With almost 300 camps (75 are NEW) over 11 weeks, Summer Encounters offers something for everyone! Adventures in sports, creative pursuits, cooking, science and technology, service learning, and more! There are even some fun academic camps to give kids a “jump start” on the next school year. Park Place is WILD about summer! Join Park Place for an exciting summer and experience all the things that make summer fun! Their camps include awesome field trips, theme-based crafts and activities, exciting experiments, group games and challenges, playground time, Xbox games and more! Each week campers will go to the library and have a special movie day. On Wednesdays there is water play (at Park Place) and on Fridays everyone will participate in Amazing Athletes.
Park Place Summer Camp is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Children who have completed Kindergarten – 5th grade are eligible to attend. Space is limited to 28 children per week, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!

Your child’s summer of discovery, learning and play awaits at TCMU Summer Camp!
Summer camp is offered at both TCMU-Greenville and TCMU-Spartanburg. Each camp week is jam-packed with themed STEAM-based activities, which provide campers with the opportunity to learn and explore in the museum’s unique and playful setting.
Campers can “Dig into Dinosaurs”, go on a captivating “Cosmic Cruise” or explore their artistic side with “Artitude”. Preschool age camps are modified to prepare your learner for the classroom while engaging in museum play, mastering STEAM stations, and exploring subjects that will lay a solid foundation for their educational journey.
Camp is offered at TCMU-Spartanburg June 6th-July 29th.

Asbury Hills is a summer camp and retreat center in the mountains of South Carolina. Our week long summer camp sessions serve rising second graders through rising seniors in high school. With over a dozen different sessions, there is sure to the perfect option for your schedule and camper. World Explorers, Greenville’s Summer Camp programming is a full 5 day week with full days of camp for K2 thru 5th graders. Each week has a fun interactive theme attached that includes Superhero Training, Crazy Concoctions, Art-ventures, & Deep Sea Adventures! Trying to figure out what to do this summer? MOTIVE offers a fun solution for kids ages five and up with our weekly summer camps! Their facility is equipped with obstacles from the American Ninja Warrior TV show as well as parkour equipment, a foam pit, and two Olympic-style trampolines. Join MOTIVE for an entire week!
Camp will be held Monday through Friday every week of Summer, from June 5th 2023 to August 4th 2023. Kids will be grouped with others around their age and participate in ninja warrior obstacle courses, games, crafts, open gym time, and much more. MOTIVE can’t wait to see you there!

Camp sessions are Monday – Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm or from 1pm-5pm. Drop off times are up to 30 minutes before and pickup times are up to 30 minutes after. All campers are required to have a valid waiver on file and must complete our registration form.

Offers: Half-day camp for children who love animals. The program, which is held at the Spartanburg Humane Society, teaches campers about basic dog obedience, responsible pet care, and issues impacting animal welfare. Different week-long sessions are designed for kids in grades 5-7 and grades 8-10. Two-hour mini-camps are also offered for children entering grades 3 and 4.
CANCELLED: Experience camp in the heart of Spartanburg. Open to ALL rising 1st – 6th graders. Day camp includes traditional camp activities like hiking, swimming in the Junior Olympic size pool, games, archery, campfires, and skill building, as well as themed activities and guest speakers. Girls can select to spend Thursday night cooking an outdoor meal, taking part in a campfire, and a slumber party in the Lodge. Week-long camp sessions begin June 2 and end on August 7, with each week costing $175. Early arrival and late stay are available.
A rigorous three week-long summer experience for students of chamber music (string players, flutists, oboists or pianists) held at Converse College. Students must apply and submit an audition recording.
Offers rock climbing camps for kids 5 – 17 years old
Offers: An affordable, safe childcare center summer camp program for children of all ages with fun activities, field trips, and overnight trips. Camp locations are at Spartanburg’s Upward Star Center, as well as sites in Greenville and Lyman (preschool only).
