Summer day camp at the Y is more than just fun – it’s a launchpad for lifelong memories. It’s where kids from all backgrounds come together to build confidence, try new things, and form friendships.

Whether your child enjoys sports, arts & science, dance, swimming, or a full-day camp experience, the YMCA of Greenville is ready to help you have the best summer ever! Each and every camp week, counselors work hard to instill the Y’s core values of respect, caring, honesty, responsibility, and faith all in a safe and fun environment.

Each of the family Y branches offers different specialty camps and enrichment experiences, so be sure that your desired camp is offered at your local Y.

Dance Without Limits is excited to offer:

Summer Dance Camps (Ages 3–10)
Offered as week-long themed camps in both Greenville and Simpsonville, these
experiences blend dance, creativity, and play — perfect for young dancers ready to shine:

● Shine, Dance, Slay – This K-Pop camp brings high-energy moves, fierce confidence,
and lots of fun as dancers will experience a world of music, teamwork, and heroic
imagination.
● Royal Princess – Hear ye, Hear ye, royal subjects! Get ready to step into a magical
world of twirls and tiaras royal adventures.
● Pineapple Princess – An island-inspired dance adventure celebrating brave hearts,
ocean dreams, and friendship. Dancers will explore all dance genres while as a part of
our ohana!
● Mermaids & Pirates – Meet us under the sea for a treasure-seeking dance adventure!
From swishy mermaid moves to strong pirate steps, dancers will let their imaginations
sail free.
● Unicorn University – A whimsical week where magic meets movement. Dancers will
twirl, prance, and sparkle their way through a week of dance as they train to become
official unicorn graduates.

In addition to our camps, we also offer a 6-week summer class for ages 2-18 with drop-in options, and a four day Summer Dance Intensive class (Ages 10) where dancers can take their training to the next level.

We’re excited to host another great summer at Roper Mountain Science Center, the home to more than 100 week-long half- and full-day camps for children in completed grades K4 through 9th. Our hands-on activity-based educational Summer Explorations Camps mix a wide variety of fun in a wide range of topics. With selections of old favorites and new offerings from art to animals, pop culture to physics, lots and lots of Legos, and, of course, science for all ages, there is truly something for everyone at Roper Mountain. Core Camps (Grades K4 – 8th)
Campers explore music, dance, theater, and visual arts. They learn songs and choreography, create vibrant art projects, and bring stories to life through acting. Each week ends with a lively showcase where campers share their work with family and friends.

Specialty Camps
Ready to shine on stage? Led by theater director and choreographer Josh Borges. Campers master high-energy routines, scenes, songs, and choreography, building skill and confidence. Each week ends with a show-stopping showcase where family and friends cheer them on.

For 2026, our camp theme is all about the extremes of our planet! “To the Extremes” will take your child on a journey to the hottest, coldest, and strangest places on our planet and discover the animals that live there! Our camps will encourage your child to appreciate these super animals and what they do for our planet.

Whether your child is interested in learning all about bugs in our camp, “It’s A Bug World”, or if they are interested in a good mystery in our camp, “Who Dung It?”, we are sure that your child will leave camp knowing that animals are not only wild, but extremely cool!

Is your elementary student struggling in school? Camperdown Academy  blends structured learning with classic summer fun for rising 1st – 6th graders.

Led by teachers specially trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, Camp Creekside offers multisensory instruction in reading, writing, and math. With a camp-wide 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio, learning feels supportive and approachable as campers strengthen skills, build confidence, and experience success.

Mornings focus on academics, while afternoons shift into engaging activities and outdoor fun. Weekly themes add to the excitement, with past favorites like Water World, Stroke of Art, Sports Spectacular, and STEM-tastic adventures.

Camperdown Academy is a school that specializes in successfully helping children who struggle with language-based learning differences. Camp Creekside does not require that your child have a documented diagnosis of dyslexia.

All camp activities take place on the 10-acre campus in the heart of the Verdae community near downtown Greenville.

Camp Creekside is a five-week adventure designed to deliver academic results. Dates are June 8 – July 17 with no camp the week prior to July 4. Camp runs from 9am-3:30pm weekdays with an optional 8am early arrival. Cost breaks down to $400 per week.

Offers: Half-day art camp includes projects such as clay sculpting, mosaics, painting with ceramics and canvas, and string art.

Offers: Soccer programs for children ages 2 – 8 years old.

Offers: Campers will receive individual development, from basic skills, drills and full-court scrimmages to improve your overall game.
Coached by Greenville High’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson.
The camp is organized by US Sports Camps.

Camps are held on a one week basis for ages 9 to 15.

Vino & Van Gogh Summer Camps Offer:
Week-long half-day art camps (ages 4–14) May 28–August 7;  with themes like tie-dye, Squishmallow, Sparkle Studio, Interior Design, GLOW, Wicked, and more.
Small 7:1 ratio, drop-off, snacks, AM/PM, early-bird + sibling discounts.

Offers: For students interested in science and math, the Governor’s School for Science and Math offers camps in STEM with their GoSciTech camps each summer.

Ages: 6th- 10th grade.

This STEM-based learning lab offers a drop-off STEM program during the week, plus summer camp options for ages 4 – 12.

Themes include things like Catastrophic Events, Mad Scientists, LEGO, Drone, and more.

Offers: Campers have fun as they make friends and learn more about God in a positive, Christian environment.

This camp focuses on building motivation, teamwork, self-discipline, and community during a fun recreational and educational summer camp in memory of Officer Allen Jacobs.

Camp is for rising 5th and 6th-graders.
Camp is free, space is limited.

Offers: These week-long camps include options to learn about plays, musicals, improv, and auditioning.
Campers get to experience live theatre and be a part of a group performance at the end of the week.

PKL Park Pickleball Summer Camp
This active summer camp introduces kids to pickleball fundamentals through skill-building, games, and friendly competition—perfect for boosting confidence, making friends, and having fun on the court.
