YMCA of Greenville Summer Day Camp

Day Camp at the YMCA of Greenville is a great place for children and teens to start finding magic in the adventure! We are excited to have your camper experience a fun-filled, exciting summer!

It is important that your child has a wonderful “first”, “second”…or “seventh” camp experience. The YMCA of Greenville’s goal is to create an atmosphere of trust and friendship so that each camper will feel happy and confident at camp. Campers’ activities include but are not limited to: assemblies, choice activities based on weekly themes, skits, stories, arts & crafts, fitness activities, relays, character development, academic enrichment and counselor huddle times.

The YMCA of Greenville camp program is progressively structured to challenge children according to their age. Camp programming is planned to give children an introduction to a wide variety of camp activities, along with providing them the opportunity for creative expression.

Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and Prisma Health Family YMCA (Simpsonville).

Financial assistance is available for most camps.

SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE!

S4 Summer Camps are the perfect sports based day camps for rising 1st-5th grade kiddos.

Kids love S4 Camps because there’s something for everyone. We keep it exciting and engaging, regardless of your child’s interest or aptitude for sports. Camp sessions run one week, Monday through Friday, and you can choose one or multiple weeks.

STAY ACTIVE. STAY COOL.

Though we spend some time outdoors, much of your child’s day will be having fun in our comfortable air-conditioned facility. Football, basketball, baseball, and soccer are offered, but our main focus is on classic summer camp games and contests like:

– Tag

– Jump Rope

– Dodgeball

– Capture the Flag

-Jump Test (an S4 Camp Favorite!)

Join us for an action-packed ten weeks of Summer Camp!

Our all-day camps run from May 28th until August 2nd, with our days spanning from 7am to 6:30 pm.

We welcome children ages 5 to rising 8th graders.

Together we’ll explore a variety of opportunities, take field trips, learn Taekwondo, and grow into confident leaders. Here at Greenville Martial Arts Center we limit screen time and focus heavily on play, creativity, and our core Tenets; Courtesy, Integrity, Self-Control, Indomitable Spirit, Perseverance, and Loyalty.

Early enrollment ends soon, so we look forward to hearing from many of our local families!

Dianna is a local artist, educator, and owner of DMCostaCeramics. She offers Pottery classes for adults and kids over 5 years old, kids drop in clay classes, small group summer camp, as well as clay workshops. Located in the Five Forks, Simpsonville area

Half-Day art camps in the heart of downtown Simpsonville, ages 5+.
Camps for June and July are available; camps are 3-5 days long and themed.

Offers: Summer Day Camp offers a variety of activities for rising 1st – 6th graders. Day Camps are offered at seven different community centers across the county, with Tennis Camp at the Pavilion in Taylors, SC.

Camp is a week-long and is organized by the Selah Grey Foundation.

Camp Invention is a STEM Summer camp program happening in all 50 states encouraging students to find and solve problems while building confidence. There are locations near Greenville, SC. Camps are one-week long, full-day camps.

Ages: enter 1st – 6th grade

Offers: Full-day weekly camp with various activities including field trips for 1st – 6th graders. Affiliated with Renovation Church in Simpsonville.

Park Place offers full day summer camps with field trips, theme-based crafts and activities, experiments, group games, playground time, Xbox games and more for children completed kindergarten through 5th grade.

Offers: Horseback riding summer camp for kids ages 4- 16. Camp runs from 9 am – 1 pm on select weeks. Includes small lessons, arts, crafts, stable care, and horsemanship.
