YMCA of Greenville Summer Day Camp

Day Camp at the YMCA of Greenville is a great place for children and teens to start finding magic in the adventure! We are excited to have your camper experience a fun-filled, exciting summer!

It is important that your child has a wonderful “first”, “second”…or “seventh” camp experience. The YMCA of Greenville’s goal is to create an atmosphere of trust and friendship so that each camper will feel happy and confident at camp. Campers’ activities include but are not limited to: assemblies, choice activities based on weekly themes, skits, stories, arts & crafts, fitness activities, relays, character development, academic enrichment and counselor huddle times.

The YMCA of Greenville camp program is progressively structured to challenge children according to their age. Camp programming is planned to give children an introduction to a wide variety of camp activities, along with providing them the opportunity for creative expression.

Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and Prisma Health Family YMCA (Simpsonville).

Financial assistance is available for most camps.

Let your child have “The Ultimate Adventure” this summer at Coast 2 Coast Camps (C2C Camps). We have plenty of fun and exciting field trips, games, sports, arts & crafts, chapels and “The Ultimate Adventure” themed activities planned. Your child will make friendships that will last a lifetime as well as have the opportunity for leadership & character development.

Camp is open Monday – Friday from 7am to 6pm. We have multiple options of program attendance to fit your needs for kids from grades K5- 8th grade. Our annual contract is only $100 per week and includes summer camp plus after school care including pick up from area schools, during the school year. If you’re looking for just summer camp, then our summer camp contract is only $160 and includes field trips and activities. We also have daily or weekly drop in options available to fit any attendance needs you may have.

Join us for an action-packed ten weeks of Summer Camp!

Our all-day camps run from May 28th until August 2nd, with our days spanning from 7am to 6:30 pm.

We welcome children ages 5 to rising 8th graders.

Together we’ll explore a variety of opportunities, take field trips, learn Taekwondo, and grow into confident leaders. Here at Greenville Martial Arts Center we limit screen time and focus heavily on play, creativity, and our core Tenets; Courtesy, Integrity, Self-Control, Indomitable Spirit, Perseverance, and Loyalty.

Early enrollment ends soon, so we look forward to hearing from many of our local families!

Camp Invention is a STEM Summer camp program happening in all 50 states encouraging students to find and solve problems while building confidence. There are locations near Greenville, SC. Camps are one-week long, full-day camps.

Ages: enter 1st – 6th grade

Half-Day art camps in the heart of downtown Simpsonville, ages 5+.

2024 Summer Camps include art projects, crafts, games, and more.

Offers: Themed summer camp for children 4 and up.
Activities include gymnastics, ninja, tumbling, crafts, and more.

Offers: Summer Day Camp offers a variety of activities like arts, crafts, sports, field trips, and special events for rising 1st – 6th graders. Day Camps are offered at seven different community centers across the county, with Tennis Camp at the Pavilion in Taylors, SC.

Camps run from June 1st, 2024 – August 12th, 2024 (depending on camp chosen)

Summer Day Camps, Tennis Camp, and Teen Leadership Summer Day Camp

Offers: Full-day weekly camp with various activities including field trips for 1st – 6th graders. Affiliated with Renovation Church in Simpsonville.

Park Place offers full day summer camps with field trips, theme-based crafts and activities, experiments, group games, playground time, Xbox games and more for children completed kindergarten through 5th grade.

Themed camps and specialty camps for ages Rising 5K – 8th Grade.
Campers are grouped into teams by age and participate in a wide variety of fun activities
Camp is available from 7:30 am to 6 pm
Open to both members and nonmembers

Offers: Weekly dance camps for all skill levels, ages rising K4 – Rising 6th grade.
Camps are hosted at locations in and around Greenville, including YMCA of Greenville (Caine Halter & George I. Theisen locations) and Christ Church Episcopal School.

Summer camp for special needs and children in foster care.
Cost: $175 per child (discounts for siblings and foster children)

Camp runs from 9 am – 4:30 pm
Camp is a week-long and is organized by the Selah Grey Foundation.

Offers: Summer camp curriculum STEAM learning through exciting and fun experiences for your child every day! For ages 4 – 12

Offers: Horseback riding summer camp for kids ages 4- 16. Camp runs from 9 am – 1 pm on select weeks. Includes small lessons, arts, crafts, stable care, and horsemanship.

Offers: A variety of Math Camps for all grade levels

Trail Blazer Survival School is the ultimate outdoor summer camp destination, offering week-long day camps (8am-3pm, Monday-Friday) for students ages 10-14. Drop off takes place at Park Place Children’s Center in Simpsonville (Five Forks area), then kids ride the bus to exciting places our camp in Union, SC and other locations to learn new skills like hiking, fishing, camp cooking, outdoor survival and so much more.

This is a great way to get kids off their screens and enjoy being active outside enjoying nature. Themes include Full Draw (archery), Search & Rescue, Campcraft, Fishing, Primitive Skills, Bushcrafty, Baskets and Bowls, and Wildernes Survival.
