Saturday, October 17
Celebrating the harvest in Lincoln County since 1972, this is the largest festival in Lincolnton, drawing roughly 80,000 visitors each October.
It features local apple growers, a farmer’s market, local talent on two stages, and foods including whole apple pies, along with kids’ activities and more.
Free to attend, no pets allowed.
Each Saturday morning from early May through late October, two blocks of downtown Greenville’s Main Street are transformed into the TD Saturday Market, a vibrant open-air marketplace in the heart of the city.
The market features more than 75 vendors offering seasonal produce, prepared foods, and handcrafted goods, creating a lively community gathering space every week.

Join Kyndall Stewart with Kaleidoscopic Creative for a a slow-paced morning where participants meet for coffee, take a guided walk through the Preserve, and gather small natural treasures like fallen leaves, acorns, bark, moss, seed pods, and other found objects. At the end of the walk, you’ll settle in together and spend some time sketching your collections.
No experience necessary and all materials will be provided.
This program is best suited for anyone ages 8 and up.
Join us this Fall at our one of a kind Sunflower Adventure Maze in Polk Co, NC. Under an hour from the Greenville area, Fox Mountain Meadows is a private farm and event venue. This Fall there is something special growing in the garden- tens of thousands of varieties of sunflowers in all colors and sizes! Part maze, part riddle, part scavenger hunt we are certain this will be an adventure for all to remember! The maze is open during the week and for those looking for more Fall fun, join us on the weekends for games, vendors, and more. Advance purchase tickets required due to limited capacity for each date and address will be provided to ticketed guests.
Alexander County’s biggest event of the year, drawing an estimated 35,000 visitors and over 400 vendor booths along the streets of downtown Taylorsville.
Expect multiple entertainment stages, a “Kids’ Korner” with rides, petting zoos, carriage rides, and games, plus food vendors serving everything from BBQ and Italian sausage to homemade ice cream and fried apple pies. Contests include apple baking, apple peeling, and kids’ candy apple art. Free to attend.
The 38th annual Apple Harvest Festival turns downtown Waynesville’s Main Street into a premier arts and crafts showcase celebrating apples and the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Named one of the ’10 Best Fall Harvest Festivals in the Nation,’ the free street festival invites families to stroll vendor booths and the shops and restaurants of historic Main Street.

Bridgeway Station Fall Harvest Festival 2026
Join us Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM–8 PM at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville for a day of family fun, fall traditions, and community spirit! The rain makeup date is October 18.
A $20 punch card includes the petting zoo, dress a scarecrow, face painting, balloon animals, hay maze, crafts, games, and inflatables. Each activity earns a punch. Punch cards are for one person and are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
Enjoy festival favorites including apple nachos, candied nuts and honey sticks, homemade fudge, cotton candy, Parmesan truffle popcorn, and hot buttered pretzel bites. You can also create your own Milk House candle or pick a bouquet from the flower cart!
🎃 The Golden Pumpkin Hunt begins October 1. Follow the clues, find the hidden pumpkin, and win prizes!

Join us for a fun-filled, educational day at Lake Robinson while learning where Greer’s drinking water begins. The event on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm is free for all ages and will feature educational exhibits, lunch, kayaking, inflatables, outdoor yoga, and much more. There will be more than 25 exhibitors, tree giveaways, rain barrel workshop, and blood drive. The rain barrel workshop is the only cost associated with the event and will be run through the Watershed Ecology Center.
Soar into hero mode with the Firefighting Plane workshop, sponsored by First Alert! Kids will build and decorate a rescue plane. Workshops are hosted by Lowe’s Red Vests, in-store only.

TMAS is performed by an SCCT Teaching Artist in SCCT’s Prisma Health Lobby, the material often includes audience participation or simple interaction and will last no longer than 30 minutes – perfect for young, wiggly patrons.
Little ones can enjoy a high-energy, kid-friendly storytime at SC Children’s Theatre! A Teaching Artist brings a story by Aaron Reynolds to life in the Prisma Health Lobby with audience participation and simple interaction. Performances last no longer than 30 minutes, so they’re perfect for wiggly young patrons. Shows at 10am and 11am. Reservations aren’t required, and the parking lot fee is waived for story time patrons.
Come relax, create, and enjoy a family-friendly beading workshop for kids! All ages welcome! Parents also welcome to join.
We provide you with beautiful quality materials, tools, and guidance to make your own bracelets, necklaces, or anklets. Our goal is to uplift creativity, self-expression, and connections. You can make and take home as many pieces as you want in this 1-hour workshop. Parents must remain on site and can either be in the workshop space or shop in Westside Market.
