Grab your neon and crank up the creativity—it’s time to head back to the raddest decade ever! Each Saturday features a brand-new oversized, 1980s-inspired masterpiece, so campers can join us for a single morning of creative fun or come to all four and build an incredible retro art collection.
From pop art portraits and graffiti lettering to giant sunglasses and an epic boom box, campers will explore painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture while discovering the bright colors, bold patterns, and playful style that made the ’80s unforgettable.

Transform your own photo into a bold, colorful 1980s-inspired masterpiece.
🎨 September 26 – Giant Graffiti Initial
Create an oversized, mixed-media version of your first initial bursting with neon colors and retro patterns.

Design a larger-than-life pair of funky shades filled with bright colors, bold patterns, and totally rad details.

Ellaberry’s second-annual fall celebration at the llama farm. This four-hour, ticketed event is flexible — drop in or stay the whole time. Each ticket includes unlimited llama barrel train rides, a fall-themed family photo booth with the llamas, an exclusive baby llama exhibit, and access to the playground and petting area. Enjoy mountain views and fall colors alongside llamas and alpacas. Seasonal treats and gift shop items available for purchase; llama obstacle-course walks sold separately. No dogs, please.

Bring your littles to the front steps of M. Judson for our twice-weekly story time! Enjoy some wonderful picture books read aloud to the crowd by our very own booksellers, and children will even get a sweet treat to go. If you catch them on a rainy day or cold day, storytime is held inside in the children’s section toward the back of the store. Beginner-friendly knitting class taught by Allyson and Debbie of the SC Knitting Guild. Families will learn the basics of knitting, including how to cast on, create the knit stitch, and bind off their project.

The Greenville Zoo’s family-friendly Halloween tradition returns with trick-or-treating, Dragon Alley, Ghost Town, and a glowing light tunnel. Costumes encouraged!

The Town of Duncan South Carolina hosts a Spooktacular Halloween Family Fun Night filled with free rides, trunk-or-treat, music, and fun for all ages! A Kid Sensory Only hour runs from 3–4 PM, followed by the main event from 5–9 PM. Local businesses, churches, and organizations will be handing out candy. Costumes are encouraged! Food and drinks are available for purchase.

The Foothills Chamber of Commerce brings a family-friendly Halloween festival and haunted house back to FENCE for its 2nd annual run! Saturday is Kids Night with a bounce house, trunk or treat, and face painting. The haunted trail and graveyard are suitable for most young children; the haunted cabin and barn are best for ages 8 and up.
