Day Camp at the YMCA of Greenville is a great place for children and teens to start finding magic in the adventure! We are excited to have your camper experience a fun-filled, exciting summer!

It is important that your child has a wonderful “first”, “second”…or “seventh” camp experience. The YMCA of Greenville’s goal is to create an atmosphere of trust and friendship so that each camper will feel happy and confident at camp. Campers’ activities include but are not limited to: assemblies, choice activities based on weekly themes, skits, stories, arts & crafts, fitness activities, relays, character development, academic enrichment and counselor huddle times.

The YMCA of Greenville camp program is progressively structured to challenge children according to their age. Camp programming is planned to give children an introduction to a wide variety of camp activities, along with providing them the opportunity for creative expression.

Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and Prisma Health Family YMCA (Simpsonville).

Financial assistance is available for most camps.

Drama Kids of Greenville County creates a safe place for our kids to step away from their screens to build emotional resilience and social confidence. Our award-winning curriculum promotes literacy, emotional regulation, public speaking, collaboration, and leadership skills through the magic and conventions of theatrical play.

Constructive drama coaching isn’t designed to turn kids into Broadway actors. It is designed to give young people the skills they need to have the greatest opportunity to be successful in their future.

Join International Ballet for an exciting Summer Experience! Ballet Camps are held Monday – Friday and feature age appropriate ballet emphasizing creativity, coordination, and musicality. Students will explore all facets of the art of ballet, learning about the story, music and costumes of classic ballets.

Shipshape Farm summer camps are an opportunity to get outside, learn about animals and care for them (we have goats, chickens, dogs, a cat named Taffy, and a duck named Donald), play games, dig in the dirt, and just have an all-around old-fashioned good time!

If you would like your kiddo to enjoy tech free play in the sunshine – Shipshape Farm is the place for you! This year, our camps will be going through different Children’s classic books, (Like Heidi, Treasure Island, Charlotte’s Web, etc.).

Kroc Greenville Summer Camps: Make this a summer to remember by enrolling your kids in Kroc Greenville’s Summer Camps! Participants aged 6-12 are welcome to attend Summer Sports Camps. These half-day camps are sure to keep your child engaged through age-specific activities designed by our knowledgeable and passionate staff.

Sports Camp: Our Summer Sports Camp features a different sport each week! Here, participants will learn about and play a different sport each week.

What you need to know:  Camps take place at Kroc Greenville and feature indoor and outdoor activities. There is time allotted for participants to enjoy a snack from home. Participants even have the opportunity to swim at the end of each day, so be sure to pack a swimsuit!

Sign your camper up for a play-filled learning experience at TCMU! Each camp day is infused with STEAM-based learning and museum exploration based on a different weekly theme.

Summer camp at TCMU-Greenville is for rising Pre-K to 5th grade learners. Camp must be booked by the full week. Summer camp at TCMU-Spartanburg is for potty-trained 3-6-year-olds and can be booked by the day.

Trying to figure out what to do this summer? MOTIVE offers a fun solution for kids ages five and up with our weekly summer camps! Their facility is equipped with obstacles from the American Ninja Warrior TV show as well as parkour equipment, a foam pit, and two Olympic-style trampolines.

Join MOTIVE for an entire week! Camp will be held Monday through Friday every week of Summer, from June 3rd 2023 to August 2nd 2023. Kids will be grouped with others around their age and participate in ninja warrior obstacle courses, games, crafts, open gym time, and much more.

Camp GOTR is ONE-OF-A-KIND and registration is NOW OPEN! Camp GOTR by Girls on the Run provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all girls to develop self-confidence and learn life skills they can use now and as they grow.

Soccer instruction will be coached by Liberty Head Coach, Julie Carlson and the Liberty players. The week-long camp combines the best of the Girls on the Run program with all the fun of camp plus a unique experience with the Greenville Liberty Soccer team!

The program is designed to address physical, emotional, and social development in 3rd through 5th grade girls through fun and engaging lessons. Using an intentional curriculum that incorporates small and large group games, physical activity, interactive workshops, and individual reflection, girls learn valuable skills to help them build meaningful and positive connections with others.

Led by a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, camp activities target the foundational skills that support handwriting and build confidence. Using the mediums of drawing, art, creative writing, and play-based movement, we create fun opportunities for your child to explore writing and drawing all while learning new skills.

PACE is offering handwriting camps for children ages 4-6 and ages 6-8!

Interactive STEAM cooking and food science camp for children rising 1st grade – 6th grade.

Camps are from 9 am – 12 pm, 4 days long.

WEEK 1 (Rising 1st-3rd Grade): June 10th-13th
WEEK 2 (Rising 2nd-4th Grade): June 17th-20th
WEEK 3 (Rising 4th-6th Grade): June 24th-27th

Offers: A variety of zoo camps that include animal encounters, games, experiments, crafts. For ages 5 – 14.

Children will work together to build an escape room that is immersive. The themes explored include puzzle writing, gamemastering, implementing a theme, and more.

Create the Escape Summer Camp begins July 2024. Ages 8 – 14 are welcome.
Camp time: 9 am – 1 pm, 1 week long.

Offers an array of different weekly drama camps for different age ranges and levels.

Ages K4 – 12th grade

Offers: Week-long half-day art camps with various themes such as tie-dye, Taylor Swift, Boys Camp, Barbie Camp, Glitter Camp, Jurassic Park Camp, and more. For ages 4 and up and varies by program.

Summer art camp, Safari Art Adventure, located at the Fine Arts Center of Easley
Camp is for ages 8 – 12 years old

9 am – 12 pm
Cost: $175 (registration and payment due by June 21st)

Offers: The program, which is held at the Spartanburg Humane Society, teaches campers about basic dog obedience, responsible pet care, and issues impacting animal welfare. Half-day mini-week and week-long sessions are available.

Field Trips & School Programs: The South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson offers 45-60 minute school programs intended to support your curriculum and grade level. Fee is $5 per student.
