YMCA of Greenville Summer Day Camp

Day Camp at the YMCA of Greenville is a great place for children and teens to start finding magic in the adventure! We are excited to have your camper experience a fun-filled, exciting summer!

It is important that your child has a wonderful “first”, “second”…or “seventh” camp experience. The YMCA of Greenville’s goal is to create an atmosphere of trust and friendship so that each camper will feel happy and confident at camp. Campers’ activities include but are not limited to: assemblies, choice activities based on weekly themes, skits, stories, arts & crafts, fitness activities, relays, character development, academic enrichment and counselor huddle times.

The YMCA of Greenville camp program is progressively structured to challenge children according to their age. Camp programming is planned to give children an introduction to a wide variety of camp activities, along with providing them the opportunity for creative expression.

Summer Day Camp is offered at Caine Halter Family YMCA (Greenville), Eastside Family YMCA (Taylors), George I. Theisen Family YMCA (Travelers Rest), Judson Community Center (Greenville) and Prisma Health Family YMCA (Simpsonville).

Financial assistance is available for most camps.

Dance Without Limits is excited to offer:

Summer Camps – Week-long for dancers ages 3 to 10 in both Greenville and Simpsonville including:

– Bark in the Park – A fun-filled ballet, tap, and creative movement camp that is PAWfect for Bluey fans and features PAWsome dance moves along with PAWsitive lessons in kindness, teamwork, and sharing!

– Spellbound – A week of spellbinding fun! Explore magical choreography and music inspired by Wicked. Campers will develop their ballet, jazz, and hip hop technique, and unleash their creativity!

– Princess Power – This is a week-long journey of dancing, arts & crafts, and endless amounts of fun! Each day dancers will celebrate a different princess such as Moana, Belle, and Elsa, and learn tap, jazz, and ballet dances.

Summer Classes – 6-week classes with drop in options including:

– Twinkle Toes and KinderStars classes for younger dancers ages 2-6
– Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Acro classes for ages 6-18

Summer Dance Intensive – Four days for ages 10+ with a diverse range of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, acro, and tap. For dancers of all abilities and levels!

Shipshape Farm summer camps are an all-around, old-fashioned, good time! We are outside all day, every day – so kids return home happy and tired. We play old school field day style games every day, create hands-on crafts, explore the land, get hands-on time with the animals, dig in the garden (And taste test all the veggies!). We also enable plenty of time for imagination and relationship building.

Here on the farm, we have goats, chickens, bunnies, ducks, dogs, and cats. The structure of each day varies based on weather and animals. If you would like your kiddo to enjoy tech free play in the sunshine – Shipshape Farm is the place for you!

Join International Ballet for an exciting Summer Experience! Ballet Camps are held Monday through Friday and feature age appropriate ballet emphasizing creativity, coordination, and musicality.

The Fine Arts Center Summer Arts Intensive is a four-day program designed to help students in grades 7-11 prepare for the Fine Arts Center curriculum. The program is geared toward students who:

1. Have a strong interest in the arts and want to deepen their skills,
AND
2. are in Middle School or High School and are strongly considering auditioning for the FAC in the future,
OR
3. have auditioned for the FAC and want to improve their skills.

Tuition for the program is $200.00. The program runs from June 2-5, 2025 at the Fine Arts Center – 102 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville. Students from Title I middle schools attend for free and have access to bus transportation. Students who have the “Pupil in Poverty” designation may qualify for financial assistance.

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Novice to medium level students who desire to improve their fundamentals.

Looking for an exciting new sport to keep your child entertained and active this summer? FFA offers camps for all experience levels. Olympic Fencing is a thrilling sport with a deep history. Fencing develops coordination, discipline, strength, balance, focus, and more.

Empower Summer Camps are creative arts day camps for ages K5-12th grade.

Camps run from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm, for $200 per week. ($50 application fee)

Come dance with the Mauldin High School dance team, the Mavettes! Ages 4 – 12.
4 day camp where campers will learn a dance, dance skills, and complete a craft.
Campers will have a performance for their family on Thursday.
Each dancer will receive a pair of poms and a T-shirt.
Campers will also be invited to dance the pregame show at a football game with the Mavettes in September.

Offers: Weekly STEAM camps where campers apply their math and science skills to the engineering design process to develop ingenuity, creativity, collaboration, and flexible thinking. For rising 1st – 8th graders.

GTCHS’s Warrior Archery Development Camp is for rising 4th – 9th graders who would like to learn more about archery or get some extra summer practice. All equipment is provided and we take young archers through the National Archery In Schools curriculum and competition format step-by-step!

Mosaic is a nonprofit in Greenville, SC serving youth and their families who speak English as a second language. They offer a Summer Arts Program for ages rising Kindergarten- High school, with an emphasis on dance, drama, music, visual arts, creative writing, and performance, along with weekly themes.

The Clemson University Science Outreach Center summer day camps are a blend of STEM adventure and educaiton designed for campers ages 8 – 12.
