How did Presidents’ Day sneak up on us parents? Seems like the kids just had a Monday off of school! To help you out on things to do, camps, or other entertainment, we’ve compiled this list.

Presidents’ Day Camps in Greenville
Need child care on Presidents’ Day? The kids have the day off, but not everyone does. Several local venues are offering day camp on this day off of school, plus there are a couple drop-in child care options.
The Children’s Museum of the Upstate
February 17, 2020 | 9 am – 4 pm
Ages 3 up to 3rd grade
Join TCMU-Greenville while school is out for Presidents’ Day Camp! Kids will get to learn about various ways of coding.
3-5 Year Olds:
Members: $25/half-day
Non-members: $20/half-day
K5-3rd Grade:
Members: $45/day
Non-members: $50/day

Papier Mache Mini-Camp at Kid Create Studios
From 9 am – 3 pm, let your kids get all slimy at this art camp. For ages 5-12 and the cost is $70/member and $78/non-member.
Pixelmon Day Camp at Code Ninjas
From 8:30 am – 3 pm on Monday, February 17, 2020, drop off kids ages 7-14 years old for coding, games, and robotics. $65/child
Workday Workshop at SC Children’s Theatre
From 9 am – 3 pm, kids ages K4-5th engage in fun activities and social interactions. $50/child
Skate Camp
For kids ages K4-5th grade who just love roller skating, this camp is for them. It’s on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 9 am – Noon and costs $25/child at the Skate Center in Piedmont.
Gymnastics Camp
Airborne Athletics is having gymnastics camp from 9 am – Noon on Monday, February 17, 2020. $35/child
Drop In Childcare
If you need childcare on Monday, both KidsZone and Giggles (two locations – Pelham Rd and Augusta Rd) are both open. After School Plus is also offering drop-in rates for Presidents’ Day.
Things to do on Presidents’ Day
Snow Tubing (or Skiing)
If you don’t have to work and would love to take your kids on a fun adventure, try snow tubing. Ski Sapphire Valley in Cashiers, NC is open on Presidents’ Day (learn all about it here – we just went!). Moonshine Mountain near Hendersonville, NC is also open. Greenville Library
Greenville Library is open on Monday for Presidents’ Day except the Simpsonville Branch, which is undergoing maintenance. There are plenty of story times and kid spaces to hang out and read or play.
A Superhero Breakfast
Head to Eggs Up Grill in Powdersville for breakfast with a few superheros on Monday.
Kids Painting Class
Head to Hobby Lobby in Spartanburg for a kids painting class at 11 am on Monday. Cost is $25.
Go Roller Skating
Family Time Skate Center in Piedmont is having Open Skate from 12:30 – 2:30 pm on Monday. Cost is $3 plus skate rental.
