The Best Women’s Consignment Shops in Greenville

Nearly New Shop

KAG readers love this shop. One reader described the Nearly New Shop as “fantastic”.  It’s run by the Junior League of Greenville and all funds go to support their mission and programs. They accept donations, which are tax-deductible, of new or gently used clothing, jewelry and shoes, children’s toys, seasonal items, books, furniture, and small appliances. Here is a list of what Nearly New Shop accepts and doesn’t accept.

Clothes Mentor

Clothes Mentor is one of my favorites. I happened to go there once during a sale where a ton of their clothing was only $5! I got a bunch of great pieces for not much money. Their staff has always been really nice and they have a great maternity section as well, which one KAG reader noted.  Everything is arranged by size and color as well and they have a large selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories. For women who want to consign clothes, the store pays them cash on the spot. Clothes Mentor carries sizes 0-4X, as well as petite sizes. Reader Abigail says, “Clothes Mentor! Affordable, stylish, and great customer service.”

Safe Harbor

This shop got a couple of thumbs up from our readers who enjoy shopping here. Safe Harbor Resale Shop is connected with Safe Harbor of Greenville, which provides assistance to victims and their children of domestic violence. (Note: This store is a resale store not a consignment shop.)

L’s on Augusta Consignment

This shop got many accolades from KAG Readers. Reader Tori tells us that she loves to sell there when they are accepting. That’s a big perk of consignment shops as well is that you can make some money on clothes that you no longer wear but are in good shape.  L’s on Augusta prides itself on having quality clothes, many with name-brand tags. They also offer shoes, jewelry and accessories. “Great selection of a variety of brands and price-points. Great and unpretentious service,” says KAG reader Catherine.

Labels Designer Consignments

Labels Designer Consignments promises an “economically savvy and ecologically friendly fashion experience” at their boutique shop. When the owner was designing the store, she really wanted to make a place where she would be comfortable shopping that had great clothes at affordable prices within a friendly atmosphere. You are also able to shop online!

Several KAG readers mentioned they love the Miracle Hill thrift stores, specifically calling out the ones in Mauldin, Travelers Rest and the shops on Pleasantburg and Wade Hampton. I’m a big fan of Miracle Hill as well and have had luck sorting through their racks.

See the Miracle Hill website for specific locations.

Plato’s Closet

A chain consignment store with a local flare since each is individually owned and operated, Plato’s Closet is a fun consignment shop that actually has both women’s and men’s clothing. They also offer cash on the spot for customers who want to consign items. KAG reader, Mindy, says she’s “gotten some great deals on stuff that hasn’t even been worn.”
