We spoke with Brenda from Red Cottage Cookies and found out why she does what she does.
KA: How did you get started?
Brenda: I started making cakes when my girls were little to make them really cool cakes. That blossomed into a business a few years down the road. I’ve only done cookies seriously for the last five years or so. My main thing used to be cakes, but now I’ve taken a break from that and am concentrating on cookies.
KA: What is your favorite part of making these little works of art?
Brenda: My favorite part is definitely designing them!!! I love to make every order just a little different, even if it’s the same theme.
KA: What would someone be surprised to know about you or your business?
Brenda: Before we moved here four years ago, I owned a small bakery in Ohio!
