Top 5 BBQ Places near Greenville

When we polled readers there were two clear favorites that were top contenders for best BBQ near Greenville: Mike and Jeff’s BBQ and Henry’s Smokehouse were tied for the most favorite, and we couldn’t agree more. Bobby’s and Smokey Dreams were coming in for close runners-up.

1. Mike and Jeff’s BBQ

There was a resounding consensus for Mike and Jeff’s BBQ being one of the best places near Greenville to grab BBQ.

Mike & Jeff’s hands down! He cooks it old school on homemade smokers and the meats are so amazing that you don’t even need sauce. The chicken breasts are smoked still on the bone to maintain moisture and then hand pulled, all of the sides are made from scratch unlike several other BBQ places around Greenville that use frozen premade sides.

Nice write up. I haven’t been to Mike and Jeff’s BBQ or Charlie’s, so now I have a good excuse to go to those two places over the next week. Thanks for sharing your article.

CD’S BBQ & Catering is the new kids on the block. With a small location and new 24 food trailer now rolling. They do it old school. No liquid smoke and all sides are scratch made. Sweet and mild sauce pr Dr.Pepper sauce nobody is even close. I did say the most moist meat anywhere. THE RIBS ARE THE BOMB.
