As a not-for-profit organization, the Model Trains Station depends on individual donations and corporate sponsors to bring the best train associated activities to the Upstate of South Carolina.

Since 1995 the Greenville Shakespeare Company has provided the Upstate with high-quality, low-cost, (mercifully!) abbreviated versions of William Shakespeare’s works and other classic works of literature.

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is the 7th largest children’s museum in the country, and the first for indoor fun! With three floors and 30 unique exhibits reflecting the areas of arts, science, health, transportation, environment and more, TCMU-Greenville is the perfect destination for learning and play! With fresh, exciting programs including Food Lab and TCMU Tots, TCMU-Greenville caters to all children ages 0-12.

TCMU-Spartanburg, located in the heart of the community’s historic downtown, houses 6,000 square feet of exhibit and learning space designed to support children ages 0-6, with a focus on early childhood development and Kindergarten readiness.

As a non-profit, TCMU strives to fulfill its educational mission of developing young minds into compassionate problem solvers through purposeful, intentional and accessible play-based learning opportunities. TCMU is also a popular destination for field trips and birthday parties. And The TCMU Store is the Upstate’s most unique toy store, with every purchase supporting TCMU’s important mission.
