EspritGVL is a co-op that meets in the North Greenville area on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are offered to 1st through 12th-grade students. The co-op is a drop-off co-op with some volunteer requirements. A wide spectrum of classes are offered as well as park days, meetups, field trips, and support.

This art studio in Spartanburg offers pottery painting and the occasional hands-on clay day, as well as special events.

They offer a wide variety of art classes involving clay and canvases with special kids events and homeschool days. On Fridays throughout the school year, homeschool students are welcome to explore their artistic sides between 11 am and 2 pm–and receive a 20% discount.

Hearts of Clay also offers several birthday party packages. All project materials are included and birthday child receives a special gift. Outside snack & decorations welcome, and Hearts of Clay will clean up the mess.

Picture Books of The Past: Celebrating M&G’s Collection. The Museum & Gallery turns 75 this year!

To celebrate we’ll be taking a journey into the past to highlight some of our most fascinating paintings. As you learn to “read” these beautiful masterworks, you’ll discover amazing characters, captivating stories, intriguing symbols, and interesting facts about time periods and painting techniques. For example, did you know that painters in the 1400s used egg yolks to create their paints? Yep, the same kind you eat for breakfast! These FREE, monthly events will help your child develop an appreciation of the arts, academic abilities and practical life skills, all while getting to know BJU faculty and students. These events are designed for students in 9th through 12th grades.

Crestview Christian Homeschool Academy offers full day to à la carte academic & enrichment classes on Thursdays.  Classes are for students in Elementary – High school. The group meets at Riverside Baptist. Parents may drop off children or stay and be a part of the community.

Though this is a complete school for students who are not homeschooled, 9th through 12th-grade homeschoolers are welcome to enroll to take individual classes through Greenville Classical Academy’s upper school university model classes. Homeschoolers also have the opportunity to join an athletic team.

These groups offer an ensemble opportunity for student musicians both homeschooled and traditionally schooled. Auditions are required.

1 hour gymnastics classes are offered to homeschool students ages 6 – 18 years old. They offer two locations, one on Miller Road and one in Mauldin.

They offer virtual classes in instrumentals, reading, mindfulness and yoga, drawing, high school courses, and more.

Additionally, the Upcountry History Museum offers tours for school-age children that immerse the kids in a period of history through exhibits, discussion, and hands-on activities.

Jocassee Wild Child brings 3rd-7th graders onto Lake Jocassee, exploring geology, Native American history, wildlife, and Jocassee Gorges ecosystems through boat-based, hands-on outdoor learning adventures.

Minimum of 6 people for the Jocassee Wild Child Outdoor Education programs.

This virtual classroom offers classes for kids of all ages in various subjects, including english, math, coding/tech, world languages, science, art, history, music, and more. There are even private tutors and private lessons available.

WonderHere Anderson provides play-based, project-based learning where children explore, create, and grow through hands-on experiences, individualized learning, and a joyful, childhood-centered environment.

Steadfast Hybrid Academy is a Christ-centered hybrid program created to walk alongside homeschool families. Combining on-campus instruction with at-home learning, Steadfast emphasizes strong academics, meaningful community, and a Biblical worldview.

Studio Green is a music studio located in Spartanburg, SC that provides lessons for musical instruments and choir. Hours are by appointment only.
They also offer a Homeschool Choir for ages K5-12th grade and Homeschool Piano that meets weekly.

Field Trips & School Programs: The South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson offers 45-60 minute school programs intended to support your curriculum and grade level. Homeschool groups can visit as well. Fee is $5 per student. They also offer classes that are perfect for homeschooling families.
