The Children’s Museum of the Upstate, with locations in both Greenville and Spartanburg, is THE go-to family destination for indoor exploration! TCMU-Greenville offers 23 unique exhibits focused on programming areas such as arts, humanities, sciences, health, nutrition, the environment and community engagement. TCMU’s downtown Spartanburg location houses 6,000 square feet of exhibits designed to support children ages birth to 6, with a focus on early childhood development and Kindergarten readiness. 

Free weekly programming, such as Story Time & More, steamWORKS, and and Open Art Studios, provide opportunities for families to further learn and discover together. Annual memberships offer unlimited visits to both TCMU locations in Greenville and Spartanburg. Let your kids bounce of OUR walls this Summer. Big Air Trampoline Park is the Upstate’s premier indoor trampoline park featuring never before seen attractions in the upstate like Battle Beam, Orbit Challenge, Trampoline Laser Maze, Mechanical Bull and South Carolina’s LARGEST Ninja Warrior course. Your kids will have plenty to do to stay active at Big Air Trampoline Park.

Your kids will love hanging out at Big Air this summer. Jumping on our trampolines and flipping in our foam pits is just the beginning. Your kids will enjoy making new friends and building memories that will last forever.

Big Air offers day camps for kids aged 6-12 years old for only $100/week. We offer weekly morning sessions and afternoon sessions. Weekly camp sessions include 20 hours of jumping in the park, 5 lunches and snacks, Big Air Backpack, Big Air souvenir cup, and more.

Camp sessions are Monday – Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm or from 1pm-5pm. Drop off times are up to 30 minutes before and pickup times are up to 30 minutes after. All campers are required to have a valid waiver on file and must complete our registration form.

With a giant indoor play space and lots of unique fun exhibits, The Children’s Museum is naturally the go-to rainy day spot in Spartanburg. The Children’s Museum of the Upstate also has programs available for children most of which are free with admission. The space is designed for children ages 6 and under.

TCMU-Greenville is open to the public Tuesday-Saturday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday (11 am to 5 pm). TCMU-Spartanburg is open Tuesday-Saturday (9 am to 5 pm) and Sunday (11 am to 5pm) . Both locations will be closed on Mondays.

To limit capacity, both locations will implement advanced timed-entry tickets. All visitors must purchase tickets in advance based on a desired entry time. Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.tcmupstate.org.

Ready for a challenge?! Arena X is the all-new competitive ninja tag concept from Big Air. It’s the first and only business in SC to offer this style of technology and gameplay.

Now celebrating its 35^th year, SCCT is the largest children’s theatre in South Carolina and serves over 30,000 children and their families annually through performances and special events, theatre classes, on-site residencies, school tours, and outreach programs. SCCT recently opened its brand-new theatre facility in downtown Greenville, and envisions a community where ALL children experience the transformational impact of theatre, which nourishes creativity, grows empathy, and inspires confidence.

SCCT’s Theatre Arts Conservatory offers year-round drama classes for students ages 3-18. The museum offers a beautiful display of fossils, minerals, and rocks. Located at Clemson University, the museum houses both geological and paleontological exhibits. In addition, a display of fluorescent rocks that seems like magic will thrill the entire family!
