It’s pretty surreal for us when are walking around downtown without our kids in tow, we are actually able to stop and smell the flowers at Falls Park.
Have you been to the Cancer Survivors Park? This park would be the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic with your sweetie!
Or how about a picnic at Paris Mountain, a bike ride thru the Lake Conestee Nature Park or a stroll along my personal favorite, the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

How about that popular BBQ place in town or eat at one of the cool restaurants in West Village of Greenville and combine it with artist studio visits at Greenville Center for Creative Arts or art gallery visit at Art & Light Gallery? Have someone else plan your date, try a food tour by Chef’s Table Culinary Tour and yes you need a day for the food tour!

For some amazing vistas while dining, check out Restaurant 17 at Traveler’s Rest, lunch at historic Grove Park Inn in Asheville or wine tasting at Victoria Valley Vineyards. Try their wine flight tasting at $20 for two. We did this after a short hike at Table Rock and it was a nice cap to our active day. Don’t forget to make reservations and request for a table with a view.
